Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead and develop their relationship with a prestigious, high-end London venue.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management within premium venues, working with high-profile clients, alongside strong technical knowledge of the audio-visual events sector. You will be highly organised, adept at managing multiple priorities, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills are essential to succeed in this role.
• Acting as the main point of contact you will work with the venue to sell space and promote our services, identify new opportunities and develop new ideas.
• You will provide technical advice and manage clients’ technical requirements, liaising as to client specifications and operational deliverables to ensure consistently high client satisfaction levels are achieved.
• Assisting with the supervision of the on-site technical team to ensure that the delivery of the job is both efficient and technically sound.
• Liaising with clients and our technical team both in advance of and during an event to ensure that the client receives the highest level of service at all times.
• Contributing to post-event review meetings and regular Sales meetings.
Qualifications and prerequisites
• Experience in account management of large scale conferences and live technical events.
• A broad technical knowledge base across all areas of video, sound, lighting, networking and IT.
• Commercial awareness and Budgetary skills - demonstrate a clear understanding of company business and the ability to effectively balance cost, quality and ensure profitability.
• The ability to work well in a fast paced environment.
• Flexibility – the ability to facilitate overtime including early mornings, late evening and some weekend working.
• Highly client focused (as delivering the best quality service to our clients is at the heart of what we do)
• A great team player.
