Job Description
Our client is a leading global audio visual integrator, providing high-quality AV and event services across a wide range of client partnerships.
They are looking for an experienced AV Engineer to become a key member of their Regional team in Ireland, supporting and representing the client across multiple end-user sites.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced AV Engineer to join a well-established operation and play a key role in driving service excellence.
The primary expectation of the role is to provide field-based and onsite AV support services across the client’s regional accounts.
• Supporting field service break/fix activities in the region, with additional travel outside the region as required
• Preventative maintenance visits as required
• Providing client-specific BAU and event onsite support
• Managing all onsite events within large presentation spaces
• Meeting room support for large complex events, town halls, special events, and VIP video meetings
• Conducting planning meetings with client event organisers to ensure the correct technology is used
• Pre-testing meeting room spaces and managing onsite support deliverables
• Providing a meet & greet service for VIP meetings and assisting users with audio and video connections (virtual and in-room)
• Supporting stakeholders and end users with all client requests
• Locating faults and providing second/third-line solutions
• Providing system workarounds in the event of failures
• Ensuring fault tickets are logged via the client ticketing portal and resolved within SLA
• Managing equipment repairs and critical spares
• Supporting and managing software/firmware updates in line with change control
• Proactively training and supporting end users

• Strong client communication and escalation management
• Calm under pressure

• Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
