Job Description
We have new opportunity searching for a Senior AV Technician. The responsibilities for this position is to provide all technical support to our clients campuses in a friendly and instructional manor and to act as the main point of contact for all day to day operational issues relating to the AV service and BAU activity. Ideal candidates will be based in East London or in West London.
Hours: 9-hour day on a rotational shift pattern, on a pre-agreed 5 day working week between Monday-Sunday (weekend coverage required)Key Tasks:
• Operational Coordination between teams including the technical helpdesk, field service, projects teams and client liaison Provide support on an individual basis to users at all levels of seniority on Audio Visual equipment, connectivity and applications where appropriate
• Primary point of contact onsite for our client
• Conduct daily walkarounds and testing of both client locations
• Fault handling and tracking of all AV fault related tickets raised via ticketing system and monitor though the life cycle to conclusion.
• Create comprehensive reporting procedures to account manager when required
• Attend client service reviews with account manager and client
• Track and manage all AV requests received via dedicated AV Phone & Email
• Provide 1st line troubleshooting of any AV system failures
• Experience and good understanding of all technologies deployed
• Setup, testing, operation, and deinstallation of audio visual and video conference equipment
• Event Support – preparation / rehearsals / Co-ordination of rental equipment
• Manage our clients' onsite service deliverables working in conjunction with helpdesk teams
• Inventory management of consumables & stock holding of on-site critical spares
• Act as an ambassador and be a senior point of contact for both our client and their customers
• Ability to own the service and become main point of contact for all stakeholders
• Ensure all managed service SLA's are delivered
General:
• Experience of Retail environments and expectations
• Extensive knowledge of Audio-Visual systems and technologies
• Extensive knowledge in meeting room audio and video conference systems
• Have excellent communication, time management, presentation and organisational skills
• Be enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Be able to establish productive relationships with people at all levels
• Ability to use own initiative appropriately
• Customer focused and strong ability to deal with individuals on all levels in a friendly, welcoming and helpful manner
Must have experience with the following technologies:
Crestron, Exterity, Scala, Videowalls (SCT, Daktronics), Samsung, LG displays, Armagard, Esprit, Extron
Laptop & Mobile supplied
Desirable Skills:
• Retail Experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of video wall technologies
• Strong knowledge of networks preferred
• Knowledge of Scala and Exterity
• CTS preferred
