Job Description
Our client is a well-established live events and audio visual production company, delivering technical solutions for conferences, corporate meetings, awards ceremonies, exhibitions and large-scale business events throughout Ireland.
They are looking to appoint an experienced AV Production Manager to oversee the successful delivery of live events from planning through to completion.
This opportunity would suit either an experienced Production Manager or a Senior AV Technician ready to take the next step into a leadership role. You'll be responsible for coordinating technical teams, managing client relationships on site and ensuring every event is delivered to the highest possible standard.
The role can be based in either Galway or Dublin, with Galway preferred. Travel to venues across Ireland will be required, and accommodation in Galway can be provided where necessary.
• Take overall responsibility for the technical delivery of live events from load-in to derig.
• Lead on-site production, ensuring events are delivered safely, efficiently and to schedule.
• Coordinate audio, video and lighting teams while maintaining clear communication throughout each project.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and venue representatives during live events.
• Resolve technical or logistical issues quickly while maintaining a calm, professional approach.
• Liaise with internal project teams before each event to ensure all technical and operational requirements are in place.
• Maintain exceptional standards of organisation, presentation and customer service.
About You
• Previous experience within live events, technical production or professional AV environments.
• Background as either a Production Manager, Technical Manager or Senior AV Technician.
• Strong working knowledge of professional audio, video and lighting systems.
• Comfortable managing crews and coordinating multiple disciplines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills with a confident, client-focused approach.
• Able to perform well under pressure and adapt quickly during live productions.
• Full UK or Irish driving licence and willingness to travel.
