Job Description
Ready to take ownership of live event projects from concept through to delivery?
We’re hiring a Project Manager to join our client, a global live events and digital production agency delivering high-end pharmaceutical conferences worldwide. Based in the East of England, this role sits at the heart of technical delivery, client management, and commercial project ownership within an established and highly experienced PM team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid background in live event production who is ready to step into a fully-fledged project management role, while still remaining hands-on during live shows.
• Managing live event projects from pre-production through to on-site delivery
• Acting as technical lead on events, ensuring smooth, high-quality execution
• Producing technical quotes using HireTrack (or similar rental management systems)
• Liaising directly with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Scheduling and coordinating freelance technical crews
• Working closely with senior Project Managers to deliver complex international events
About you:
• 2–3 years’ experience in AV, live events, or event production is essential
• Previous project management experience is preferred but not essential
• Strong technical understanding of live event delivery
• Confident communicator with a professional, client-facing approach
• Organised, commercially aware, and comfortable juggling multiple projects
• Flexible and realistic about the demands of live events, including unsociable hours, weekend work, and international travel
Package & rewards:
• £35,000 base salary plus a significant performance-related bonus, typically 20–30% (OTE c. £45,000)
• Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) bonus scheme (tax benefits, following qualifying service)
• Generous holiday allowance: 22 days + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown, rising to 30 days with service
• Charity matched giving and paid volunteering days
• Regular company social events
