Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Network Integration Engineer to join their HQ team. In this role, you will represent the client and play a key part in delivering successful AV projects. You will work closely with customers, consultants, and internal teams to understand requirements and ensure smooth project delivery.
You will create technical documentation, run workshops, and take ownership of delivering AV network elements across the client’s engineering divisions. You will also support existing customers, contribute to account growth, and assist the support services team with training and adoption activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Network Integration Engineer to join a well-established operation and help drive continued innovation and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and ratify system schemes in terms of networking requirements and architecture.

• Liaise with internal project departments, consultants, clients and contractors to ensure project networking requirements are met.

• Delivery, integration and maintenance of systems in terms of their network architecture and design connectivity to meet the needs of the system brief and design.

• Using proven technology whilst also looking for new and innovative solutions to problems and designs.

• Physically set up elements of systems to prove the concept using hardware and software.

• Conduct off-site testing and setup, on-site commissioning and configuration programming of project network requirements, encompassing both hardware and software interfaces.

• Engage with client network teams to deliver secure and scalable IP-based AV solutions.

• Follow and review system schematics and network designs, ensuring all details and any alterations are recorded.

• Represent the company with a high level of professional conduct and presentation.

• Continue education and development within relevant areas, supported by the business.

Desirable Skills

• Strong understanding and experience of networking principles (TCP/IP, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, Multicast, QoS).

• Troubleshooting network communication and related issues.

• Video conferencing system design, configuration and deployment including but not limited to Cisco, Microsoft Teams, Zoom.

• IP connectivity, control and distribution including but not limited to Crestron, Extron, AMX.

• IPTV distribution systems including but not limited to Exterity, TriplePlay, MediaStar.

• Digital signage systems including but not limited to Exterity, TriplePlay, OneLan, Samsung MagicInfo.

Additional Skills

• Excellent technical knowledge of AV, VC and IT equipment from all major brands.

• Up-to-date understanding of the AV marketplace including products and trends.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

• Ability to understand project schedules and plans.

• Ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure.

Hours of Work
