Our client is a leading Consultancy based in the London, City. They have a new permanent opportunity for a Junior CAD Technician to join their team. You will receive Architect's drawings and turn them into X-refs for use. Hybrid working from home, client site and office.

Job Title: Junior CAD Technician

Location: London, City

(Hybrid Working Model – Working from Home / Office / Site when required)

Hours: 8.30am – 5pm
Salary Range: [£25,000 – £30,000]
Benefits: 20 Days Holiday plus 3 days between Christmas and New Year, plus bank holidays.

Reports to: CAD & BIM Manager, Director of AV and Director of IT Infrastructure

Duties:
• Receive Architect’s drawings and turn them into X-refs for our use.
• Create/maintain our companies Audio Visual, Passive Infrastructure, Security & Smart building drawings.
• Help maintain/improve standards across all drawings.
• Make sure all information on the drawings is up to date and correct before issuing.
• Assist the consultants with any design requirements they need i.e equipment detail drawings, SER layouts etc.
• Attending meetings where applicable.
Skills / Requirements:
• Basic understanding of AutoCAD.
• Experience with working with floor plans and elevations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel.
• Understanding of Microsoft SharePoint.
• Time Management - able to work to a deadline.
• Good Communication Skills.
