Job Description
We are searching for an experienced Senior AV Technician to be a key part of our client’s London team, representing our client. Who will be taking full responsibility for monitoring AV Mailbox and AV Ticketing system, handling of AV telephone enquiries, daily room checks, meet and greets, basic VC / AV meeting set up and level 1st/2nd line support for technical issues.
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced Senior AV Technician to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support on an individual basis to users at all levels of seniority on Audio Visual equipment, connectivity and applications where appropriate
• Conduct daily morning meeting room testing of all technologies deployed
• Set up & support meetings and conferences as required
• Fault handling and tracking of all AV fault related tickets raised via ticketing system and monitor through the lifecycle to conclusion
• Create comprehensive reporting procedures to their account manager when required
• Attend their customer service reviews with their account manager and customer
• Track and manage all AV requests received via dedicated AV Phone and Email
• Provide 1st/2nd line troubleshooting of any AV system failures
• Have experience and good understanding of all technologies deployed
• Setup, testing, operation, and install/deinstallation of audio visual and video conference equipment
• Event support including preparation / rehearsals / coordination of rental equipment
• Manage our client’s onsite service deliverables working in conjunction with our client’s help desk teams
• Inventory management of consumables & stock holding of on-site critical spares
• Act as an ambassador and be a senior point of contact for both our client and their customer
• Ability to own the service and become main point of contact for all their stakeholders
• Ensure all managed service SLA’s are delivered
Desirable experience:
• Minimum of three years corporate experience
• Extensive knowledge of Audio-Visual systems and technologies
• Extensive knowledge in meeting room audio and video conferencing systems
• Have excellent communication, time management, presentation and organizational skills
• Be enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Be able to establish productive relationships with people at all levels
• Ability to use own initiative appropriately
• Customer focused and strong ability to deal with individuals on all levels in a friendly, welcoming and helpful manner
