JacobsMassey Summer Celebration JM#20

The Summer Celebration JM#20 was hosted to recognise twenty years of successful business and to celebrate the launch of new company branding. The event took place at the central London venue Congress Centre where around 70 special guests attended and celebrated the great milestone with the JM family.

The venue was perfect for the occasion, we were thrilled when the Congress Centre team offered to help us with their hospitality. They worked with us to ensure all our needs were met in a timely manner. On the day of the event, everyone was wowed by the stunning decor and attention to detail that went into making this night special.

Prior to JM Production creating an event plan and sending out invitations, we started to allocate appropriate equipment to support the event. Once we received confirmation from those attending, we sent the final catering numbers to Congress Centre. Furthermore, we booked a 3m x 2m Video Wall to display act a s backdrop for the DJ and display the sequence of the new logo for branding purposes. Our crew arrived at the venue to set up the night before the event, as were under pressure to deliver multiple events consecutively, which proposed a challenge to our production team.

On the day of the event, our crew arrived at Congress Centre for final checks and rehearsals. When the guests started to arrive to talk and network with each other in the foyer area. The awards ceremony and logo showcase took place in Congress Suite including one award which was delivered via a live video call, due to the recipient sustaining a leg injury.

The evening began with Derek giving an interesting introduction outlining a brief history of the company’s history leading up to the present day. This was followed by the awards ceremony, where our partners and freelancers were given recognition for their hard work. Jon then took over as DJ and played tunes that had everyone up on their feet. Everyone had a great time laughing, dancing, making new connections and taking pictures in the Video 360 booth.

All in all, it was an amazing evening and we were so happy to have had the opportunity to come together and celebrate the successes of 2023! We are already looking forward to hosting more events like this one in the near future.
