Job Description
We’re looking for an AV Technician who will provide first live Audio Visual (AV) support to events held at our Client’s HQ based in London. Working with both internal and external event organisers to run high quality in-person, live streamed and hybrid events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Carrying out management tasks to maintain the good order of client’s audio visual equipment
2. Manage maintenance schedule and daily auditing of AV and streaming equipment
3. Liaise with IS Team to ensure maintenance and working of event laptops
4. Maintenance, scheduling and set up of electronic signage
5. Setting up and testing of all AV and streaming equipment required for events
6. Live on the day support of both in-person and hybrid or streamed events
7. Offering technical advice and advise on solutions to internal and external event planners for delivery of in-person, hybrid or streamed events
8. Providing support for speakers joining remotely including testing of connections prior to the event day
9. Having a full working knowledge of College AV and streaming equipment and troubleshot issues
10. Editing and uploading of event recordings for on-demand access
11. To support wider facilities team to ensure events run smoothly
GENERAL
1. Undertake any other duties related to the job purpose and which may be necessary in the Client’s work.
2. To carry out all duties in a safe and proper manner in accordance with the Client’s Health and Safety Policy.
3. To undertake all duties in line with the Client’s values, policies, procedures, and regulations ensuring that the work undertaken actively promotes equality and diversity.

CRITERIA
ESSENTIAL
Experience of core AV skills (audio, projection, video and lighting)
Experience of video production and editing
Experience of supporting live events, either online, in-person or both
Experience of using online streaming and event platforms.
Enthusiasm for working with the wider staff team to support them in events
Well organised, with the ability to ensure all aspects of AV equipment are maintained in good order.
Willingness to work outside of normal working hours on occasion to fix issues or to support events.
Ability to stay calm and problem solve under pressure
Self-motivated and willing to embrace, explore and learn new technology
Experience or working in a customer facing role
DESIRABLE
Experience of supporting complex hybrid events with multiple streams
Experience of videography
