Job Description
We're looking for "freelance AV Technicians" interested in supporting audio visual services, digital filming, editing and video conferencing. Up to 4 months, immediate start! London.
Skills & Experience:Some previous expertise in the provision of audio-visual services, digital filming and editing and video conference systems
Good level of technical knowledge and understanding of a wide range of audio visual services, audio, video, multimedia, standards, formats, delivery etc.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of broad based technical developments relevant to the role
Ability to manage and prioritise own workload effectively
High standard of communication skills
Good understanding of, and focus on, user needs related to the scope of the post
Able to install, configure, upgrade and test desktop computers (both Windows and Mac)
Knowledge of computer operating systems (Windows and Apple)
Ability to contribute effectively to the development of End User Services at a local level
Technical knowledge:
Must have demonstrable experience in AV or relevant technical industry experience (film/theatre/music/events).
Experience of working effectively as part of a team, particularly with regards delivering services and problem solving jointly
Previous experience of contributing to improvements to service
Personal characteristics/other requirements
Excellent communication, liaison and coordination skills
Ability to think creatively in order to anticipate and solve problems, take corrective action where necessary
Proactive, flexible and responsive approach to work
Commitment to the innovative development of user oriented services
Customer-focused approach to service delivery and development
Ability to work collaboratively with other teams and external clients
Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines
