Job Description
On-going Freelance booking to provide white glove / meet and greet service that manages technical logistics for large complex events, Town halls, special events, and VIP’s video meetings. Immediate start.
Freelance support Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00 – Flexible hours as requiredOversee / manage all onsite Events within Auditorium – in conjunction with in-house teams
Conduct planning meetings with client & Event organisers to ensure the correct technology is being used & Event formats are fully understood leading to successful meetings/events
Test, check and ensure equipment is in operable condition prior to any meeting or presentation
Setup, testing, operation, and break down of audio visual and VC conference equipment
Assist with the setting up and & supporting of Events & presentations – primarily Auditorium and 5th Floor
Multipurpose room as well as BAU support where capacity allows
Have a strong understanding of technology deployed
Locate faults or problems and provide solutions on a first /second line basis across all rooms
Ability to provide systems work around in the event of failures – all rooms
Ensure fault tickets are logged via Refinitivs ticketing system / onsite procedures and resolved within SLA.
Be fully competent in Digital AV environments.
IT literate, understand network architecture and structured cable infrastructures.
Work with vendors for AV rental and staging of events (where required)
Ability to multitask and work under pressure to strict deadlines
Generate daily reports and contact VIP clients to establish full nature of meeting & event requirements
Work closely with off-site Events team to ensure all event requirements are captured and managed effectively for both onsite and off-site events
Daily checks / ad hoc testing across all event & meeting room spaces (where required)
Track and manage all AV requests received via dedicated AV Phone & Email
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on customer interaction
Maintain smart business attire
Remain client facing and calm under pressure at all times
