Job Description
We have a great opportunity looking a Business Development Manager to work in our clients expanding AV Integration team. We are looking for a BDM who is highly motivated Self Starter with AV experience. The successful candidate would need to be able to effectively communicate our clients products and service offerings, whilst maintaining the highest levels of credibility and integrity. Their offices are based in the Berkshire area; however travel to customers sites is expected when required.
Primary Responsibilities• You will be responsible for identifying new sales leads, then proactively looking to convert these leads.
• You will be expected to nurture customer relationships ensuring that customers always receive the highest levels of service
• Respond to customers in a timely manner ensuring that the customer is always updated on progress
• Achievement of specific sales targets
• Liaising with operations to ensure the highest level of service is received and that the job is carried out in accordance with the customers instructions
• Good organisational, planning ability and time management skills
• Adaptability/Flexibility to facilitate the needs of the business
• Genuine interest in AV essential
• Winning AV design, installation and maintenance contracts
• Targeting consultant, contractor and, predominantly, end customers across the UK
• Identifying (lead generation) and closing opportunities for new business growth
• Carrying out site surveys and formulating accurate and competitive proposals
The Person
• At least 1 years’ experience within Business Development, Telesales, New Business, Account Manager or Sales role
• Experience within the Audio Visual (AV) industry is essential
• Proven record of winning new business and achieving targets
• Ability to manage a busy workload
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer literate
