Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced and/or entry AV/Audio Visual Technician who is able to co-ordinate, set up and operate events as well as support with the day to day operations of a growing event production company. This role is to start immediately with a competitive salary. You may currently be working as an AV/Audio Visual Technician in live events, or looking to take the next step in your career. You will be a key member within the team with fantastic opportunities to grow with the company
This role would suit an AV/ Audio Visual Technician who has 2-3 years or more experience in Live Events and is confident with equipment and facing clients. You must be able to work independently as well in a team, you will also need to be flexible and adapt to all scenarios. This role will be based in Slough however you will be working at different locations when on events.This role is working 5 days over 7 and will require Technicians to work most weekends and your days off will mostly be during the week.
As an AV/Audio Visual Technician your duties will be to;
• Prepare equipment prior to being despatched
• Assist with the management of rental stock
• Working with the Hiring Manager to ensure all kit quantities are kept up to date
• On-site support for projects of all sizes
• Delivery and collection of equipment in a LWB van
• Loading and unloading vans and trucks
• Printing of rental paperwork and following processes and procedures
• Inspecting and replacing all equipment on return
This is just to name a few however the role will be shaped around the successful candidate’s experience.
