Job Description
To manage the Audio-Visual Department, ensuring delivery of the highest quality implementations and overseeing each aspect of all AV projects, from initial technical qualification and site survey, through to project sign-off, so that the outcome not only meets but exceeds the expectations of the client.
Oversee all aspects of the project process from inception through to completion, ensuring all necessary documentation is produced accurately and on time, including but not limited to:- ‘As Sold’ design specification and costing spreadsheets
- Client-facing functionality descriptions
- CAD drawings
- System schematics and cable schedules
- Software specifications
- Weekly Project Reports (both internal and client-facing)
- RAMS
- Engineer work packs
- Testing programmes
- User Acceptance Training
- Client sign-off documents
- "Clean Room" photographs of the commissioned rooms/areas
Ensure that each deliverable stage of the AV project is suitably resourced and documented
Hold regular, minuted project meetings, both internally and, where relevant with clients, to ensure all requirements are being addressed and to identify and resolve issues at the earliest possible opportunity.
Manage change control and ensure all technical information is distributed internally as appropriate and is stored on the Company’s file servers.
Be responsible for the annual performance review of departmental staff, including their training and development programmes.
Ensure the Company holds all required industry and manufacturer accreditations and qualifications, including but not limited to ISO certifications and AVIXA (InfoComm) certifications.
Assess and report on new products and technologies which will enhance the Company’s portfolio.
Ensure the Company’s demonstration room facilities are operational and set up to suit each client meeting.
Maintain on a daily basis an up-to-date record of all activities and contact with clients and prospects through the Company’s CRM database.
