Job Description
As a result of our clients continuing expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior AV Custom Install Engineer to join their close-knit team, working across a range of UK and International luxury residential and commercial AV projects from their London base.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, an up to date and relevant interest in technology is essential. Understanding how we work together as a team and challenging the way we do things are qualities that make this a perfect role for the right person. If you seek a role that will stretch your technical knowledge and test your attention to detail, alongside offering on-going training and development as part of a lively and fun company then keep reading.Role Requirements
- Take ownership of a number of projects from first fix to client handover, with support from other resources as necessary
- Ability, patience and logic to build racks to exacting standards, fully supported by others as necessary
- Must be able to work to the clients high quality standard
- Required to possess the temperament to be able to plan, resource and manage a project with hands on input and the eye for detail required to ensure that your installation is completed on time to perfection and within budget
- A well honed engineering flair, combined with excellent communication skills and the understanding for the need of faultless records
Required Skills
- Possess a strong technical knowledge or audio visual systems, lighting controls, integrated control systems, IT networks, IP telephone systems and CCTV
- Wide depth and breadth of experience in installing, programming and commissioning, amongst others, control systems from Crestron, Savant, Control4 and Lutron
- Ideally suited to an adaptable, confident network engineer understanding how to configure a secure Wi-Fi network using equipment from the likes of Meraki or Openmesh
- Experience of commissioning KNX, Video entry and CCTV is a desirable attribute
