Job Description
Our client is looking for an Audio-visual, technical and media services (AVTMS) - Audio-visual technician to support all our departments and stakeholders by delivering excellent, pro-active, professional technical support for a wide range of meetings and events.
Our client has two modern theatres with built-in AV technology (seating 300 and 140 respectively), in addition there are 18 other rooms hosting approx 1000 internal and 700 external events a year with AV requirements.The demand for responsive and effective support is increasing as our client is using technology more to engage, inform and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
Based within our corporate services directorate the AVTMS – Audio-visual technician will join a dedicated team, who provide technical support 0700-1900 Monday to Friday and out of hours upon request on a shift pattern based on a 40-hour week.
The roles key responsibilities are:
1. Providing AV support for all meeting spaces within our client estate including setting up and de-rigging AV, and VC/Skype equipment.
2. Providing organized and proactive support in the planning and preparation of our client video conferences.
3. Providing on-call support to all meetings requiring effective resolutions to any unexpected technical issues.
4. Housekeeping and stock control throughout all the AV departments storage spaces.
5. Supporting any other live events in other meeting spaces when required.
