Job Description
A rare opportunity to directly join one our corporate clients, who are based in Central London. This role is looking for an AV Technician to work as part of a site based team to provide AV support across the site.
Key Responsibilities- To arrive on site at the start of shift promptly
- To use the job management system to assess the workload for the shift (and beyond) and liaise with colleagues accordingly
- To work to tight deadlines within a high pressure environment, often client facing resolving problems and issues as they arise.
- To maintain an air of calm confidence throughout
- To present a professional high-quality image at all times
- Attend to reactive/breakdown tasks in a timely fashion and within the stated SLAs which are set on PlanOn.
- Ensure all tasks (PPM, Reactive, Proactive, and Breakdown) are completed and recorded on the PlanOn system with suitable and sufficient details for others to understand works undertaken
- To proactively communicate, both verbally and electronically, in order to receive instruction and provide feedback where necessary.
- Complete site walk-arounds and proactively identify, log and rectify issues found throughout the Site. Through PlanOn and Hazard recording to demonstrate.
- To be available, as far as reasonably possible, for on-site and external training courses.
- Ensure the provision of a Safe and Healthy working environment.
- To develop a good working relationship with all members of staff, clients and building users.
- Ensure the professional image of the company is presented to clients at all times.
- Take ownership of all plant rooms, risers and other areas under the responsibility of company, and ensure they are locked at all times (where appropriate) and kept in a clean and tidy condition, with waste disposed in accordance with Site rules.
- To arrange and provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in your working patterns.
- To be available, where possible, to step-up and cover the AV Supervisor during periods of sickness and/or annual leave.
- To undertake lone working when and where required, and adhere to the Site lone working procedures, taking suitable precautions to manage the risk (notify others in advance of your location and intended timescales etc)
AV Technician Key Capabilities
- To be well versed with various AV equipment.
- To be comfortable working to tight deadlines in front of the end user.
- To be comfortable with the Video Conferencing, Webinar and Audio and Video recording / editing.
