Job Description

The Proposal Team Lead will co-ordinate, prepare, review and finalise the delivery of consistently high-quality tender and proposal returns as part of the Pre-Sales team. You will support the Sales team by ensuring the responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs) and Sales Proposals are coherent, persuasive and delivered on time and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

- Be responsible for the production, editing and collation of documents and information as well as the final design of proposal documents
- Manage the proposal template, including graphic layouts and PowerPoint presentations
- Ensuring Corporate standards, templates and image guidelines are adhered to.
- Setting up and coordinating meetings as required with members of the proposal team and other stakeholders
- Working with colleagues, create and complete an Excel costing document, this will form part of a fully costed and compliant tender return
- To manage the tender process with all stakeholders to ensure all work needed to complete the document is done to meet the appropriate deadlines
- Ensure updates are circulated as required keeping all stakeholders up to date with the tender process
- Ensure all documentation is kept up to date and accurate to ensure the tender process runs as effectively and efficiently as possible.
- To build and maintain a proposal documentation library and ensure it is up to date with content and style.
- Obtaining feedback from successful and unsuccessful submissions and report to management on findings

What Experience, Skills and Attributes you will need to be successful?

- Proposal/Bid Management experience
- Proven experience of working effectively with internal and external account managers
- High Level experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat is essential
- Experience in using Microsoft Project, Microsoft Access, Sharepoint, Photoshop, AutoCad (low level) is desirable
- Be organised and flexible with the ability to approach different types of tasks during the working day.
- Ability to schedule own work, prioritise requirements and work under pressure whilst maintaining SLAs is essential.
- Ability to think laterally finding an appropriate solution to fulfil an application or meet a deadline.
- Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to demonstrate planning, organising and implementing skills which ensure the successful completion of a project by a specific due date.
- Strong ethic of following process and procedure.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Be able to work on own initiative and accept accountability.
- Be able to work to the highest quality standards with attention to detail.
- Represent the company in a professional manner on its customers’ sites.
- Be competent to a high level of computer literacy.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
