Job Description
The MAINTENANCE ENGINEER reports to the Operations Manager and provides maintenance and engineering support to the AV environment in corporate environment.
The position involves a high degree of exposure, working sometimes with executive management and managing directors of the Bank. A professional approach together with a full appreciation of all other service providers is expected at all times.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
All services should be delivered punctually at scheduled times and in accordance with agreed SLA's.
The Maintenance Engineer's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
MAINTENANCE
- Carry out regular meeting room checks, ensuring all equipment functions correctly in accordance with the room check procedure.
- Troubleshoot and problem solve for the staff experiencing difficulties with audio-visual.
- Maintain, service and monitor the use of audio-visual equipment.
- Provide advice on the purchase of audio-visual equipment within the department.
- Ensure that all faults are reported in the correct way and in a timely manner.
- Proactive maintenance/reporting to ensure all AV equipment is always of the highest standard and functioning correctly.
- Coordinate power-downs/ups.
- Coordinate all AV project/installation requirements.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with Client and our service desks.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
- Providing monthly stats of workload using Impact provided applications.
- Answering telephones and transfer to appropriate team members.
- Manual data entry and completing daily schedules using various Bank applications.
- Mailbox/e-mail management.
- Liaising with members of staff in other departments or external contacts.
GENERAL DUTIES
- Advise clients on best practice.
- Provide regular feedback on communication issues and service improvements.
- Focus on service / operational issues for review.
GLOBAL COORDINATION
- Maintaining a good working relationship with global AV counterparts.
- Hold and attend regular meetings with global AV teams to discuss service and operations issues.
WORKING HOURS
Normal working hours are 07:00-19:00, Monday-Friday on a shift pattern. However, a flexible pattern of work may be required to support on-going operations.
OVERTIME
Occasional off-hours work and/or holiday work will be required. Overtime can be claimed by arrangement. This must be accurately logged.
