Job Description
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV & Event LED Technician to join our team.
You will be playing a crucial role in leading on site technology maintenance, setup and testing for events in one of the World’s leading iconic advertising locations soon to be expanded to integrate an Immersive brand experience venue.
Ideally you will need to be based within commuting distance of the West End of London and Hertford as some of your time will be spent in our Hertford HQ.
AV and Broadcast technology service and maintenance, including high resolution LED displays, control systems, Realtime graphics and content management systems with basic network knowledge.
The role requires familiarity with broadcast technology including; cameras, video streaming equipment, cabling infrastructure and also including intelligent lighting, zoned and immersive audio systems. Troubleshooting in a logical and methodical manner whilst maintaining a focus on resolution is essential. A passion and experience in delivering seamless, Immersive Audio Visual experiences
and an eye for detail is essential.
You should also have a proactive, can-do attitude, be highly adaptable, customer-focused, logical, and motivated, with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Microsoft office knowledge beneficial. Working under pressure and tight deadlines required. iPAF Certificate for 3A & 3B preferred. Working at Heights. Please note that out-of-hours and weekend working will often be required. This is full time position with a requirement for a driving license.
Key Responsibilities:
•Regularly service and maintain AV equipment, including LED displays, content management systems, and control systems.
•Manage event technology, ensuring seamless integration of audiovisual systems during high-profile events.
•Set up and optimise digital and analog audio and video mixing consoles, microphones, and speakers for events.
•Oversee video recording, streaming, and control equipment to facilitate live events online.
•Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to coordinate technology setup and execution for events.
•Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
•Stay updated on the latest AV technology trends and implement best practices.
•Assist in installing and integrating new AV technology, ensuring organized cable management.
Skills and Experience:
•Proven experience with AV technology, starting with LED displays, control systems, and content management.
•Familiarity with video recording and video streaming technology.
•Experience with lighting control, audio processing, digital and analog mixing consoles, and cable management.
•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
•Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
•Passion for delivering high-quality, immersive audio-visual experiences.
•A proactive, can-do attitude with strong adaptability and customer focus.
•Willingness to work outside of regular hours, including weekends.
