Job Description
We are looking for a multi-skilled candidate for an Audio Visual Technician position. This role will be joining a rapidly growing team, primarily working in a studio setting, to work on content ranging from YouTube videos and podcasts through to more complex live stream events.
Assisting our clients Production Manager, you will be responsible for setting up and operating an array of studio equipment ranging from vision switchers, software video mixing and streaming encoders, lighting, cameras and audio, both for recording and live broadcast.Our client requires an applicant with detailed working knowledge and demonstrable experience of operating audio and video equipment and you should be accustomed to operating for live stream applications.
The role would suit someone with extensive vision mixing practice, live streaming experience with software such as Vmix (or similar), and someone with good knowledge of general audio and video principles including signal routing. Exposure to other broadcast technology such as Teleprompters, lighting and audio would be beneficial.
You should be an enthusiastic and flexible individual, with the ability to adapt in a high-pressure and ever-changing working landscape. Experience in working with broadcast talent and guests would be useful, in addition to a calm, positive and proactive working demeanour.
It is essential that the candidate has the ability to travel daily to the studio location in Oxfordshire.
