Job Description
We're seeking x2 freelance AV Installation Engineers for a project in London. You'll be assisting an in-house AV team providing system upgrades for a leading London cultural organisation. Duration 2-3 months with flexible hours.
Overview:The requirement is basic, but ideally you will have proven experience in installation tasking (perhaps a CTS accreditation as well).
Circa 20 rooms that will need varying amounts of work to mount and install endpoint equipment, commission systems and ensure high quality finishing, cable management etc.
The systems are relatively simple meeting room type, a screen, camera/mic, house PC and connectivity (Logitech Swytch mostly). The work will unfold over the next few months, with these contracts being for a day or two at a time as prep is complete and access confirmed.
The work will be sporadic as we will identify dates when the work can be performed and make the arrangements with the engineers.
Some jobs may only need one engineer, but we are looking for two to fill those days that need two, and ensure availability should one be otherwise engaged.
Many of the specialist tools will be provided but we would expect experienced engineers to also bring key items of their own kit for example a laptop for testing. All endpoint equipment will be provided, cabling and containment and the rooms are being prepped by Estates colleagues as well.
