Job Description

We have a new opportunity for an AV Project Manager. The AV Project Manager is responsible for managing the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of Systems Integration projects. The position of AV Project Manager is based in our clients Delivery Department and reports to the Head of Systems Integration.

The main duties of the AV Project Manager are to:

• Ensure that projects are completed in a timely, efficient manner to our clients’ satisfaction and in compliance with all contract requirements

• Take full responsibility of commercial and contractual obligations for multiple projects simultaneously

• To review and engage comprehensively with SOWs and all design documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of the project and to mitigate unnecessary back-and-forth with Business Development Managers (Sales) and Design when onsite

• To raise queries or propose better approaches as early as possible as part of the documentation review to ensure changes or amends to system design can be carried out in good time

• To lead a Project Kick-off meeting with Sales, Operations / Logistics, Design, Engineers, and Programmers as required in order to brief and co-ordinate all parties

• To engage with the Operations / Logistics teams as needed for capex purchases for projects

• To engage with the Operations / Logistics teams to manage resource booking including internal and external labour

• Create a detailed project plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project

• Create key milestones and objectives to help ensure the project is successful

• Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project

• Managing any risks or issues before escalation

• Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards

• Be responsible for effective communication with our client including all RAMS, change orders, deliveries, and on-site visits

• To ensure all equipment is delivered to site at the correct time and to liaise with the Stores Manager to resolve any issues in a timely manner

• To produce daily or weekly reports to the client clearly showing project status with accompanying progress schedules and photos

• To ensure all work he/she and the onsite team carries out complies with the company’s health and safety policy and that the clients health and safety requirements are adhered to

• Have a technical understanding of solutions and will assume overall control of the direction and success of projects to achieve the client objectives within budget and on time

• Ensure that final documentation packages (i.e. O&M manuals, As-built drawings, etc) are prepared and contract close-out occurs in a timely manner. User manuals specifically will often need to be written by the PM.

• Assist with other duties, such as 1st fix, 2nd fix and commissioning works as and when required

• To demonstrate a courteous and professional attitude at all times
• Any other duties given by management

• Professional quality wiring skills

• Close attention to detail

• Knowledge of broadcast and professional video and audio equipment

• Good Computer skills

• Interpersonal skills / team player

• ECS or CSCS Certification

• 2D CAD skills
