Job Description
As part of a team you will also be responsible for the daily preparation, delivery, set up and de-rig of all audio visual solutions throughout varied locations in Greater & Central London and the UK. You will be client facing, well presented and be able to deal with issues that may arise at short notice and under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:To prep, test and maintain equipment within the warehouse in the home counties, supporting the driver technician team and the warehouse management with the daily technical operation.
To support an extensive in-house Hotel Operations & Large Scale Production events with frequent equipment deliveries & collections both in London and throughout the UK, and to support the Technical Management team with the day-to-day operation of the Hire team.
Working on a shift basis, prepare audio visual equipment in the warehouse and load vehicles for distribution to venues, and to ensure the relevant paperwork is processed - delivery, collection notes, kit requests etc.
Responsible for testing all equipment prior to delivery to ensure all is in good working order and to help in all daily deliveries & collections, and to set up & demonstrate equipment to clients. You will monitor all stock in and out and ensure any broken kit is marked up and processed accordingly.
To assist in co-ordination of all daily preps and returns and to ensure Hire Track is used to its full potential, ensuring full communication with the office and other supporting operations. To ensure company vehicles are maintained and kept clean and tidy at all times.
Assist with supervision of PAT testing for all Stock with allocated & certified team members.
You will foster good relations with all team members and with those at other sites, ensuring good relationships and excellent cooperation across the sites and teams. Alternating with others in your team, you will be expected to cover the call out facility out of hours and weekends.
Person specifications:
Good communication skills.
Attention to detail and quality control.
Technically minded.
Demonstrate priority planning and organisational skills.
Work well under pressure and be flexible.
Preferred to have at least 3 years audio visual experience, preferably warehouse based.
Preferred to have experience with stock management systems.
