Job Description
The Audio Visual & Information Technology Lead will provide technical and operational support for the execution of audio-visual requirements across sites in Europe, Canada and the US. In addition, (s)he will be responsible for information technology support for our London office.
Our client is a life sciences company dedicated to accelerating patient access to evidence-based innovation in mental health. The team is comprised of about 25 people, mostly based in London with a small office in New York City.Key job deliverables will include:
• Technical and operational lead for execution of all audio-visual requirements of our clinical trial programmes
• Technical and operational support for general information technology (IT) needs in our London office
Roles and responsibilities
Technical and operational lead for execution of all audio-visual requirements of our clinical trial programmes
• Provide technical and operational support for the rest of the Operations team and for the clinical trial site staff we partner with. This will be to ensure ongoing maintenance and potential troubleshooting for clinics where we have A/V equipment installed in for our multi-country clinical trials
• Liaise with relevant video and audio recording vendors (2) for management of any ongoing issues or process improvement initiatives, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to standard operating procedures
• Conduct video and audio pixellation/editing of relevant patient A/V data (our trials require video and audio recording) using available web platform and editing tools
• Implement high-quality, scalable and cost-effective blueprint (to be designed with external help) for audio-visual infrastructure for future clinical trials, liaising with relevant vendors and travelling to locations (EU, US, Canada)
• Technical and operational support for general information technology (IT) needs in our London office
• Interface with between 20 and 30 employees in London office and existing outsourced IT service company to support roll-out of new tools and troubleshoot issues; lead technical aspects of company town hall meetings
Profile & Skills
• Highly technically able (relevant professional trainings or certifications is a plus)
• Proven track record in Audio-Visual solutions management/deployment
• Strong knowledge of AV engineering operation & maintenance (cloud storage & media mgmt. is a plus)
• Experience with administration of subset of Office 365, Zoom, Citrix Sharefile, TrendMicro, and Crashplan
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS operating systems and related services
• Project Management skills, attention to details, and written and oral communication
• Ability to work in virtual teams and independently to deliver a high standard of client service and documentation
• Flexibility to travel when required (occasional visits to sites for equipment installation and/or troubleshooting)
• Understanding of GDPR, familiarity with implementation of ICH GCP guidelines is a plus
• Experience within healthcare/life sciences segment within A/V industry is a plus
