Job Description
The purpose of the role is to manage the entire audio-visual facilities within our client site based in Glasgow. You will be working for the UK’s leading audio-visual company and our client is a world leader in investment banking. Our client has recently refreshed our clients Glasgow offices in the latest Crestron DM driven Technology.
You will be familiar with meeting room support in a corporate environment with exceptional customer service skills. Strong organisational skills, proven technical ability and ownership are the key skills you will already possess. The majority of your day will be setting up the technology for our client’s meetings incorporating Cisco video conferences with the occasional event support in designated event spaces.The candidate shall possess excellent communication skills and be personable at all times. The role is based on a 9-hour day between 7.00 am until 7.00 pm but sometimes earlier/later depending on the event requirements where overtime will be applicable. We envisage the normal day will be 08:00 to 17:00. Duties shall include, but not be limited to the following:
- Reporting to on site AV Manager based in London
- Day to day BAU support of the AV / VC facilities
- Attend other client sites as required
- Proactively train and support end users as required
- Locate faults and provide first fix resolutions i.e. fix /loan equipment where appropriate
- Prepare equipment for events and meetings as required
- To be fully competent with all installed & portable technologies
- Provide support on an individual basis to users at all levels of seniority
- Attend and remain on station for important events where required
- Administration necessary to support the role
Technical Requirements:
- Professional expertise in AV equipment, sound reinforcement, projection, * lighting , video conferencing, maintenance & repairs
- Video - Crestron digital media, fiber distribution, projectors, LED Screens
Experience of Cisco Video Conference
- Help ensure top audio/visual quality of presentations - optimization of content aspect ratios/resolutions and file formats to suit space.
- PowerPoint experience
