Job Description

Our client is looking for a Streaming Engineer to provide technical support within the growing Live Film team. This role is to assist with the delivery of webcasts and social media live streams through the full life cycle and assisting with the development and maintenance of the infrastructure.

The role would suit a webcast technician or streaming or encoding engineer with 2 years work experience or relevant degree looking to expand their knowledge and broaden their role.

Key responsibilities

- The successful delivery of the agency's webcast and livestream projects by
- Ensuring the technical element of projects are correctly developed and appropriately resourced
- Developing expertise with our webcast and social media platforms
- Supporting development and maintenance of production hardware and software
- Ensuring the correct process is select and adhered to
Working collaboratively with Senior Broadcast Engineer, Project Managers, and ICT

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- The ability to oversee the successful delivery of livestreams and webcasts from concept to event to archive
- The ability to operate and communicate effectively in a highly pressured live video environment
- Demonstrate successful live and on-demand streaming
- The ability to work with audiovisual, acquisition and encoding equipment and software (satellite, IP, videoconferencing,
- Demonstrate successful collaboration with teams across multiple projects
- Good knowledge of Mac and PC platform (OS, networking) and encoding software (Wirecast, FMLE) and codecs
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, Microsoft Office
- A good understanding of project management process and principles
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop and AV Editing Tools
- Strong interest in and awareness of the social media and webcasting world
