Job Description
We have a fantastic NEW opportunity for a Junior Editor to join a highly prestigious London studio. The opening affords you scope to work closely with the production team, meeting & greeting clients, taking briefs and assisting in post work. Client facing.
The role:It’s your role to assist the team in the successful running and operation of the Studio, by manning the Reception desk and helping out in the Film Studio where you can. This includes the following responsibilities:
-Meet and greet all visitors to the Studio
-Ensure the Reception area is staffed and kept in an appropriate state for receiving clients
-To receive and load scripts to Autocue system and to operate Autocue
-Prepping kit ahead of shoots
-Help set up cameras and studios when necessary
-Carrying equipment health checks
-Assist with stock check and ordering consumables
Skills & requirements:
Premiere Pro
-Microsoft Office
-After Effect (Basic knowledge, use of templates and text within projects)
-Adobe Audition
-Media Encoder
Useful but not essential:
-Photoshop
-Illustrator
Your professional experience:
-Be highly organised.
-Be a proactive problem solver.
-Be friendly, positive, highly motivated, numerate and articulate.
-Have great communication skills.
-Be confident and assured in dealing with people at all levels.
-Experience of working in a highly pressurised, deliverable-focused environment.
-Supportive and hands-on i.e. be prepared to roll your sleeves up and get involved to assist the management team in the successful day to day operation of the Film Studio.
Additional desirable experience includes:
-Keenness to undertake training to support and extend skill set.
