Job Description
Great opportunity for 3x Junior AV Technicians to be based on site in various hotel location across Europe. This will be a fixed term contract ending the 1st week of November.AV, lighting and sound operator for all hotel entertainment, as well as some maintenance and mentoring duties. Close liaison with the Hotel Manager, entertainment staff and Maintenance Engineers.

Essential Experience
• Professional, live entertainment sound, AV and lighting operation
Essential Experience
• Care and basic maintenance of stage AV, lighting and sound equipment

Show Operation
Control and be solely responsible for the Stage AV, lighting and sound for all Hotel entertainment. This includes all pre-show checks, especially ensuring that sound checks are undertaken at appropriate times before every show. Maximum total of six evenings per week. The hotel technician must comply with local noise level restrictions and obey the hotel manager’s requests to turn the sound level down if requested to do so.
Stage Management
• Be responsible for any stage decoration/set needed for all of the entertainment on stage
• Manage and arrange the maintenance of a clean, tidy and organised backstage/storage area
Company representation/ Customer-care
• The hotel technician must represent our client in a professional manner at all times
• Focus on customer service to hotel guests and be knowledgeable of the our clients customers product (as appropriate)
Maintenance
• Ensure that all entertainment equipment is used correctly and is properly cared for and any faults or issues are reported immediately to our client
• Undertake equipment maintenance (within individual capabilities) at your resident and other hotels, when necessary/requested to do so by the Entertainment Team Leader
• Liaise and assist our clients Maintenance Engineer, when he/she is on resort, especially during April setup and October decommissioning
Hotel Liaison
• Liaise with Hotel Management, with the aim of creating a good working environment and assisting efforts to win agreement for system improvements etc. where relevant
• Support the hotel as required with all technical entertainment requests
Mentoring
• Mentor and/or provide technical training (within individual capabilities) for other staff
Change of Resort
• Hotel Technicians may be moved to other Travel resorts, should the need arise
Working Hours
• Start and finish times as required by jobs in hand (based on 38 hrs per week)
• 6 days on / 1 day off per week
• Working hours per week are flexible at the discretion of your Line Manager
Essential Qualifications
• Relevant Degree / HND qualification from accredited Drama School, School of Audio Engineering or another suitable & relevant FE body
• EEC Citizen
• Holder of Valid EEC Passport
• Must be aged 18 or over
