Job Description

To generate quotes for project enquiries that come in to our client's Production Dept. and to maintain a constant communication with their clients to endeavour to win quoted and future work. The post holder will have a high level of attention to detail and be pro-active in generating new business for the dept.

Key responsibilities:

- Receive initial enquiries and filter as operationally required
- Create initial quotation / add headline items to Insphire
- Ensure pipeline documents completed and internal admin processes adhered to
- Keep all Insphire details up to date
- Ensure all customers are invoiced in good time and 'cash' customers pay in accordance with their pre-payment schedule.
- Attend site visits as required
- Work with Project Managers, Creative Producer & 3D Visualiser to generate design concepts and technical solutions to fulfil the client brief.
- Follow up quotes with clients
- Liaise with Venues and Suppliers
- Nurture existing clients and work with BDM to research and develop new business opportunities
- Work with BDM to maintain Venue relationships
- Attend site where possible for beginning of build to ensure client confidence and continuity and collect client feedback post event
- Maintain a constant awareness of profit margins and strive to increase them at every opportunity
- Work closely with individual Project Managers on each event to ensure smooth handover from quote acceptance to on site delivery.
- To work closely with all colleagues across our client to ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
- To contribute to the ongoing development of the Production Department through meeting attendance and input, training and the offering of ideas on possible areas for change, improvement and growth.
- An awareness of health and safety policies, risk assessments and have a proactive to implementing them


To be considered for this role you will possess the following:

Technical Skills:

Essential:
- Proven Account Management experience of clients from different market sectors (venues, agencies, corporate)
- This job requires high level of customer support skills and experience, both face to face and over the telephone/via email
- Comprehensive knowledge of current lighting, audio and video solutions and their applications, along with good working knowledge of power distribution and rigging systems
- Computer literate with excellent Outlook, Word and Excel skills
- Experience with Asset Management software
- High level of commercial awareness and financial management/reporting
- Up to date knowledge of all aspects of current H&S legislation
- Good working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office, Visio and AutoCAD or other CAD packages

Desirable:
- Up to date knowledge of all aspects of current H&S legislation
- Experience of InspHire asset management software

Personal Competencies and Behaviors:
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to support other team members with technical advice and support as required.
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels
- Good oral and written skills
- Relating to others and working as a member of a team.
- Deadline conscious-highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multi-task managing a challenging workload and meet strict deadlines
