Job Description
Our client is looking for someone with previous AV experience, to work as a member of the warehouse team with direct responsibilities for AV equipment in a shift pattern to ensure the highest quality of delivery from the warehouse.
General ResponsibilitiesTo help with the general running of the AV warehouse
To maintain the high level of quality control already in place
To help with the preparation of all elements of rental projects
To help with the "system prep" on return of all rental assets
To help coordinate all deliveries to and from warehouse
To assist with the loading and unloading of all vehicles for both AV warehouse, Systems Integration warehouse and Scenic workshops
To help ensure clear lines of communication between warehouse, workshop and administration
To alert ASAP any up and coming issues that may occur that have a detrimental effect on any projects.
To help as part of the team, maintain an orderly safe working environment in all warehouses.
To organise in conjunction with Admin all equipment service and returns for both client owned and rental stock.
Systems Integration Responsibilities (SI)
To create and maintain standard installation kits to include tools, and all standard consumables i.e. fixtures, fittings, connectors, adaptors, Gaffa & PVC tape, cable ties etc.
To maintain and prep all standard installation kits pre and post installation to enable correct billing of all used consumables.
To maintain TBS stock records for all SI stocks, to enable weekly stock reports to show all stock held. This will include full pricing, supplier and delivery information to enable full and correct billing.
To create and maintain standard cable stocks to enable correct billing.
To dispose of all rubbish returned from site.
To dispose of all used equipment returned from site in conjunction with Technical Operations and the Head of Systems Integration.
To organise and catalogue all client stored equipment, with job numbers / dates / possible return dates.
To prep all installation site deliveries and produce delivery paperwork in conjunction with TBS (the operating system) procedures and Admin.
To create and maintain rolling stock of all "sundry extras" i.e. cables - DVI, HDMI, VGA, 13A IEC, 13A extensions etc. to enable full and correct billing.
To coordinate all SI deliveries in conjunction with AVWH/Admin and process them through TBS. This will include all stock control for items in transit through the warehouse.
To log on TBS in conjunction with the Technical Director, all installation assets i.e. tools, access equipment, etc.
